“We will immediately conduct a familiarisation for cadres and youth about the apprenticeship programme in Japan,” the representative of Ansor GP of South Sulawesi, Amiruddin Saleh, said here on Monday.
The Head of the Indonesian Training Centre (BLKI), Herman, had a meeting with the Ansor GP board represented by Amiruddin Saleh, the present Head of Branch Coordination Unit (Kasatkorcab)Multipurpose Ansor Line (Banser) of Makassar, Haryono, and Vice-Chairman of GP Ansor of Makassar, Akbar Hadi.
The Directorate-General of Training and Productivity, Ministry of Manpower, is also involved in the selection of apprentices to be sent to Japan through the Ansor Youth Movement.

Amiruddin said the selection process included a math test, physical evaluation and interviews.
Meanwhile, Herman welcomed the board of GP Ansor of South Sulawesi Province and expressed his readiness to cooperate with it for apprenticeship selection. “Hopefully, this apprenticeship will reduce unemployment,” he said.
